THE HISTORIC HOUSE HOTELS OF THE NATIONAL TRUST
In September 2008 Historic House Hotels Ltd and its interests in its three properties, Bodysgallen Hall being one, were given to the National Trust to ensure their long term protection.
About the agreement
Under the agreement, all annual profits generated from the three hotel operations go directly towards supporting the Trust’s ongoing work. The hotels operate as a stand-alone, self-sufficient commercial hotel operation under the existing management of Historic House Hotels. No funds from National Trust support the ongoing operation and all profits go to the National Trust Charity.
It is a unique and beneficial relationship, although not part of the standard member offer, which offers much value to Historic House Hotels through raising funds to support ongoing work.
Bodysgallen Hall and its gardens are accessible to the public as a hotel and welcome guests to stay, dine in their restaurants, enjoy afternoon tea (booking strongly advised) and visit the spa. All paying guests to the hotels are welcome to walk in the gardens and parkland.
